It started with a desire to serve and a simple goal in mind: to create a better therapeutic environment for young children to excel in their development. From working for preschools and therapy organizations, to realizing that we can revolutionize how families are served, HomeGrown was born to bring families and children in our communities the access to Early Intervention services they deserve.
Our journey is just getting started, and we're excited for you to be a part of it.
Our mission is to educate families on developmental milestones and strategies that support their child’s learning, while instilling caregiver confidence and competence to implement strategies into daily activities.
We are working towards creating more awareness of the statewide early intervention program. Our vision is that pediatric developmental therapy needs are identified at an early age by pediatricians or caregivers for better outcomes, and all children and families have access to program services.
Beyond our standard practitioner credentials, our entire team stays ahead of the curve with industry knowledge through research and continued education. This supports families and children in receiving exceptional care with a holistic approach to excel in developmental milestones.
All of our children and families carry infinite worth regardless of developmental age, diagnosis, disability, or socioeconomic status. We get to know our families on an individual level, assess the needs of children and their families, and provide factual information with a holistic view that supports developmental growth together.
Our family-focused approach sets children and their families up for success by meeting them where they are at, from developmental age to natural environments. We’re most comfortable sitting criss-cross on the floor, exploring a local park, or accompanying a grocery store trip to help children learn.
We also apply a parent-coaching model, which guides caregivers to be fully present, participate in therapy sessions to their comfortability level, and follow through with implementing strategies into activities to improve familial daily life.
We are dedicated to helping the state improve distribution of Early Intervention program information to families and care-giving professionals. Driving awareness of family access to all services can lead to better care outcomes.
It takes a village to raise a child. We are part of your village. We directly support and empower you with education and resources to advocate for your child’s care and development.
