Meet the HomeGrown Team

Kaetlin Romberg, M.Ed., DT

As the founder and owner, Kaet is passionate about working with families to understand what goes well and what is challenging throughout the day. This allows her to successfully integrate therapeutic strategies into everyday activities that best support the child.

She lives an active lifestyle, and is a long-time plant enthusiast and resident of Chicago. Kaet is always looking for the next best restaurant or soup in the city. She enjoys book club, the weekend farmer's market, and spending time with her canine companion, Tobi.

Jessica Romberg

With a background in partner and event marketing of various industries, Jessica has a passion for social impact and chose to bring her expertise to the pediatric therapy community. She leads the marketing and business operations, as well as business development initiatives. She prioritizes health and well-being, so you can find Jess on Chicago lake walks with her pup, Bodie, or in a barre fitness class. In that extra, spare time, she's enjoying country music and film photography.

Shawntrice Hill

As a mother of two, to Laila and Lennox, Shawntrice brings a caring and nurturing spirit to your home. She started teaching early childhood in 2008, then transitioned to working as an Early Head Start teacher. Shawtrice is a lifelong learner that enjoys challenging herself as an educator, learning new strategies, and providing insights into the different needs of children.

In June of 2023, Shawntrice earned her Masters of Teaching with a specialization in Early Childhood from National Louis University. She pledged to herself that she would continue to guide families, with the hope of bettering the educational paths and the development of children.

She is eager to support children and their families by creating a rich educational environment. She values trust and open communication, which allow her to learn about each family individually. Shawntrice finds it rewarding to watch a child learn a new skill or accomplish their goal.

Dede Stone

With a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a background that includes experience as a former Pre-K teacher and parent coach, Dede is a dedicated Developmental Therapist. She has a deep-seated passion for child development and specifically social-emotional development, with a belief that the first three years of life are the most foundational for a child's confidence and ability to connect with others. Dede's practice focuses on partnering with families, empowering them with practical, individualized in-home strategies to help children build strong social skills, effective communication, and healthy emotional regulation. Understanding that every child is unique, Dede takes time to get to know them individually, ensuring her support perfectly aligns with their learning style and pace.

When not celebrating milestones with families, you can find Dede recharging by spending time outdoors with her furry friend Finley, cozying up with a new book, or exploring local coffee shops. In that extra, spare time, she is often baking a new sweet treat recipe, spending quality time with friends and family, or going on a run outside!

Erin Glueck

With a background in Early Childhood Development and Recreational Therapy, Erin loves providing therapeutic activities for children of all abilities. Starting as a Recreational Therapist in 2016, Erin has used play as a form of learning with the children she has worked with. Through play, Erin loves to help promote a child's social, emotional, and physical well-being. In 2020, Erin earned her Masters degree in Early Childhood Development from the Erikson Institute as a way to further her knowledge with the children she works with.

In her free time, she enjoys walking with her dog, Auggie, knitting, and watching the Chicago Blackhawks!

Lizzie Lehmann

With a Bachelors in Child Development from Southeast Missouri State University, Lizzie has been working with kids for over fifteen years, in childcare centers, summer camps, clinics, and homes in and around the St. Louis area. Her biggest highlight is providing childcare for the St. Louis Blues during the 2024-2025 hockey season! It is her belief that all children, regardless of developmental level, diagnosis, or background, are capable and unique and have a right to services that help them reach their full potential. Her decision to relocate Chicago in the fall of 2025 led her to her newest role as Developmental Therapist. In her spare time, she likes to make people laugh through improv and stand up, make friends with animals, and cook for her favorite people. She enjoys watching a funny show or scary movie and showing off her skills at bar trivia.
